8th Grade Honors Band THIS TUESDAY, December 7th! Check this out!!

Congratulations to all students who attended this years MSBOA District one Solo and Ensemble! All of our Ludington students represented Ludington Area Schools in fine fashion. Way to go! The following students have qualified for MS Honors Band held at Shelby High School,Tuesday December 7th from 8am-8pm.

Transportation will be provided down in the morning, but parents will have to go to the concert in the evening to pick your son/daughter up. A more detailed itinerary will be added as soon as the information becomes available.

All OJ Middle School 8th grade students who received division one ratings at the MSBOA solo and Ensemble festival held in November will participate in the MSBOA Middle School Honors Band. These talented musicians will represent Ludington’s OJ Middle School Band in a day of rehearsals with the top middle school students in our district. The day is typically long, starting in the morning with rehearsals running throughout the day under the baton of a well-known guest conductor. The day is ended with a final evening concert of works that have been rehearsed during the day. Honors band is a memorable day for the students. Parents are required to attend the concert in the evening. Students travel to the site by bus and will go home with their parents after the concert.
