TEAM ORIOLE POTLUCK DINNER

WHEN: Thursday October 6th at 6:30pm

WHERE: LHS Cafeteria

WHO: ALL Varsity Football Players and Coaches, ALL Varsity Cheerleaders and Coaches and ALL Marching Band and Directors

WHY: This year by student request, we will be having a combined TEAM Oriole Pot Luck in the LHS cafeteria including all Varsity Football Players,LHS Marching Band and Cheerleaders. We are one student body and it will be nice to get these organizations together as one team for the same cause which is representing our school and community. Students will sign up this week to make a dish to pass and they should show up with that dish around 6pm to eat at 6:30pm. This will be a dinner probably not lasting more than an hour to an hour and a half. Please make sure you son or daughter takes serving dishes home with them that evening and any left-overs. PARENTS MAY BRING DISHES TO THE CAFETERIA AS EARLY AS 5pm. WE WILL HAVE ELECTRICITY FOR HOT PLATES AND CROCK POTS.

WHAT TO BRING:
A DISH TO PASS-MARCHING BAND WILL SIGN UP FOR DISHES TO AVOID MULIPLES A DRINK.

TABLEWARE WILL BE PROVIDED

WHAT TO WEAR: ORANGE AND BLACK!!!!

NEXT Marching Band Homegame is Fri October 7th! Report time 6:00pm! Oriole Field

LHS Marching Band camp typically consists of four full days of practice. The camp usually runs near the end of the month. It is our goal to learn as much of the years’ show within this time. Due to the extreme amount of work accomplished during the four days, band camp is a mandatory part of the high school band experience. Ludington Area Schools has done a great job in providing the LHS Band Department with great facilities including an irrigated marching practice field located right outside our own band room. It is our philosophy to run our activities with a little financial strain on parents as possible, this is why we run all of our band camp rehearsals at the school. Traditionally, at the end of our four days, everyone enjoys a great cookout at the beach.
