VERY BUSY DAY-PLEASE BE ON TIME AND BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ROLE ON THIS FUN DAY! GO O’s!

By far, the most exciting day of the year for students and alumni alike! LHS homecoming is held on a football Friday. Alumni from years past flock to Oriole field to witness a great football game and upheld traditions practiced in their time. This also is the busiest day for the LHS Marching Band. The day starts with our normal rehearsal. After a quick lunch, the band marches through the halls of LHS as an official start of the year’s homecoming festivities as the whole student body follows. The band leads the student body to Oriole Field for the homecoming pep rally. From there, the band inspires young students at Franklin school. The band then reports to the band room on this night to get ready for the homecoming parade, which starts at the courthouse and ends at Oriole field. The band does their halftime show during pregame and accompanies the final homecoming festivities during halftime. As we leave this day with sore lips and tired feet, we understand the pain will subside but the memories will last a lifetime!
