Students who are involved with the Ludington Band Department not only have wonderful opportunities in school, but also have many options for furthering their skills outside the classroom. This page is dedicated to keeping both students and parents in touch with opportunities that are available outside the Ludington Band's schoolday. Private Lessons
Private lessons are an integral part of a student's musical growth. Not only do students get help on musical concepts that we discuss in band, the student will get a one-on-one "hands on" approach to their instrument facilitated by one of our talented private instructors. Summer Programs
When most students put their books away for the summer, many of our band students take advantage of summer programs that are offered all over the state of Michigan and some programs nationwide. In this link, you will find a great deal of information about summer music programs available to our students.

Scholarships
With the rising cost of private lessons, summer programs and special travel groups, families are having a harder time getting their children involved in "extra" music activities that are offered outside of the normal band hour.
