LHS O-Funk

Look out Hawley Gym, here comes the LHS O-Funk!! The LHS O-Funk is an 80+ member group consisting of high school students along with 8th grade band students who are getting their first taste of what it is like to be in a high school ensemble. The band starts their season off with two rehearsals to get their music learned and then it is off to our stage in the sky. The band performs at the top of the bleachers in Hawley Gym during a combination of both girls and boys varsity basketball games. The band reports to the band room before the start of the varsity games. It is important to know that the times are not always the same due to the speed of the game. Students should check in with parents if games are running behind or ahead of schedule as students will have access to phones if necessary. This band is truly a unique group as it is mostly student run. A new O-Funk shirt is designed every year by the students and is available for purchase. The Ludington Basketball team and our hometown crowd are fired up due to the energy and dedication of this exciting band!
