Michigan Music Conference

The Michigan Music Conference is held every year in Downtown Grand Rapids at the Devos Convention Center. If a Ludington music student has made the MSBOA All-State Band, the student will be performing in Grand Rapids at Devos Hall on the last day of this conference which is on a Saturday. The Michigan Music Conference is primarily a gathering of band directors from across the State of Michigan. Directors take advantage of the many workshops and performances that go on throughout the week. Music vendors from all over the nation attend this conference as well to highlight the latest in music instruments and resources. Middle school and high school bands are selected to perform at this conference to highlight the high standards that Michigan music education continues to uphold.
